A. The Data We Collect

PlatesFull collects:
1. Data provided by users to PlatesFull, including:
  • User profile: name, email, phone number, password, address, profile picture, payment information
  • SMS opt-in preference: If you choose to receive SMS notifications, we collect and store your mobile phone number, opt-in status, and verification status for the purpose of sending transactional text messages related to your inquiry.
  • Chef/Cook Genie profile: culinary qualifications, work history, languages spoken
  • Identity verification: government-issued ID, date of birth
  • User-submitted content: feedback, ratings, support messages
2. Data created during use of our services:
  • Location data
  • Transaction information: booking details, menus, payments
  • Usage data: app features or pages viewed, app crashes
  • Device data: messages between users and chefs
  • Communications data: messages between users and chefs
3. Data from other sources:

  • PlatesFull account owners who request services for others

C. SMS and Text Message Communications

We use Twilio, Inc. as our third-party SMS delivery provider. Your mobile number and opt-in status are shared with Twilio solely for the purpose of delivering these messages. Twilio's privacy policy is available at https://www.twilio.com/legal/privacy.

We do not use your mobile number for marketing or promotional SMS messages. Your number is never sold or shared with any other third party for messaging purposes.

You may withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to any message. Your opt-out preference will be recorded in our system immediately.

III. Data Retention and Deletion

PlatesFull uses data to:

1. With other users:
  • Sharing client's name and booking details with chefs
  • Sharing chef's profile and rating with clients
2. With PlatesFull subsidiaries and affiliates
3. With PlatesFull service providers and business partners:
  • Payment processors
  • Cloud storage providers
  • Marketing partners
  • SMS delivery provider (Twilio): If you have opted in to SMS notifications, your mobile number and messaging preferences are shared with Twilio, Inc. solely for the purpose of delivering transactional text messages. Twilio is prohibited from using this data for any other purpose.
